KS1 Multi Sports Festival at Launceston College

Released: 20th May 2009 at 09:00 AM

Nearly 400 KS1 primary children had lots of fun recently at their local secondary school, Launceston College, participating in a Multi Sports Festival! Seven groups came up to the College in the morning and seven groups attended the festival in the afternoon. The activities included ball skills, parachute games, agility games, gymnastics, dance and gymnastic activities, and were led by Sports Leaders from the College. The Sports Leaders did a magnificent job leading large groups of children through the activities and could well be teachers of the future! The whole event was organised by Mrs Brenda Strout and Mrs Jackie Jarvis, School Sport Co-ordinators.

The primary children were from Altarnun, Coads Green, Egloskerry, Launceston Primary, Lewannick, North Petherwin, St Catherines, St Stephens, Tregadillett, Trekenner, Warbstow and Werrington.
