Local Sports Stars to present Awards at CATS

Local Sports Stars to present Awards at CATS Presentation Evening

Over 100 young people from the Callington and Saltash areas will be presented with CATS (Community Action Awarded Through Sport) awards by five local sporting stars. Gary Stronach Coach of Plymouth Raiders will present the School Support category; Romain Larrieu, Goal keeper from Plymouth Argyle, will present the Community Sports clubs category; Kevin Mosely ex-Welsh International rugby player will present the School Sports Clubs awards. Lisa Picton,  a local Triathelte, will present the Community Groups awards and Bob Brown, who has regularly competed in Iron Man Challenges world wide, will present the Community Projects category. The sports stars will be joined by local police officers from the towns of Saltash and Callington. There will also be a CATS 'Volunteer of the Year' award presented to the volunteer who has, in the opinion of the judging panel, made an outstanding contribution to their local community. The Awards ceremony will take place at St Mellion Golf and Country Club on Wednesday 14th January at 7pm.
