Cost:               £425 per person for SLA members, £550 per person for additonal SLA places,  Network and non-members

This course will be accredited with the ‘Learning Institute’ TLI – Callington Community College – Level 6 Award.

Course Overview

This four day course looks at leading and managing improvement in Primary PE. This course is appropriate for colleagues who have a leadership role for PE within a primary school setting. This course will support subject leaders to:

·        Lead teaching and learning and set targets for improvement in PE

·        Make judgements about pupils’ achievement in PE and meet Ofsted expectations

·        Lead sustainable improvement

·        Develop advocacy skills in Primary PE

The course will also develop the leaders’ subject knowledge in pedagogy in primary school Physical Education, planning for continuity and progression and assessment.
