The National Curriculum Outdoor Book Launch

Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens,

Gulval, Penzance, Cornwall TR20 8YL

Wednesday 30th September at 1.30 – 3.00pm

You are invited to a free educational workshop showcasing activities from the National Curriculum Outdoors series of books (Bloomsbury).

With the reopening of schools after Covid-19 restrictions, the need for social distancing within a school setting enables us to rethink our use of what could be considered to be a 'learning space'. Can the curriculum be effectively delivered outdoors? We think so!

The National Curriculum Outdoors series of books offer research based, objective-led schemes of work for each curriculum subject with tried and tested lessons, enabling children and teachers to experience the health and well-being benefits of learning in natural environments in a structured way that offers progression in knowledge and skills across the key stages and year groups.
