The FA Shooting Stars – inspired by Disney programme has two initiatives, Active Play Through Storytelling and Girls’ Football Clubs. Both have been developed to support the engagement of girls aged 5-11 years-old, developing their physical literacy, speaking and listening skills through creative play and storytelling, as well as truly capturing their imagination, using super-human powers, high-tech gadgets and superheroes through the magic of Disney and Marvel stories. The initiative, which is part of The FA Girls’ Football School Partnerships – supported by Barclays, is designed to inspire girls to get active with their friends while learning to play football.
