How WILD are You??
Take a short break from the digital world and come bathe in nature!! Let your curiosity lead you…
- Do you love all things about nature and the outdoors?
- Would you like to learn bushcraft survival skills?
- Do you enjoy creating and crafting with your hands (and feet)??
- Come and learn how to use tools safely eg. Whittling, drilling, sawing…
- Develop your ability to be resourceful, solve problems, gain self-confidence and self-esteem
- Make new friends and have fun!!!
- ‘Bushcraft Buddies’ will include shelters, fire-building, cooking and use of tools to create something useful for survival. Also, camp singsong around the fire
- ‘Crafty Creations’ will include activities such as outdoor drama, including mask making and props, storytelling, mindfulness, silly songs, clay, nature art…
- ‘We challenge you…’ activities such as Scavenger hunts, team-building games, knotty knots, pioneering tasks, trails / orienteering…
- Long-sleeve top and legs fully covered eg leggings or joggers
- Waterproof coat in case of rain
- Sun hat and suncream
- Trainers and wellies
- Change of clothes
- Water bottle, inhalers, medication… please take anti-histamines if required before the session
- These sessions are for children in KS1 5 to 7 year olds (academic year 2023-2024)
Our sessions are designed to fuel imaginations, encourage learning, team building, confidence boosting and resilience - all while making new friends and keeping active.

Key Information:
- Drop off at 10am and pick up at 2pm both from the Sports Centre at Callington Community College PL177DR
- Please provide a password for collection, if required
- If you require your secondary aged child/ren to walk home by themselves, please email [email protected] to this point, stating the child's full name and date of the session/s
- Our Wild Tribe Wanderers will receive fruit snacks and lunch (we will cater for meat and vegetarian diets, for any additional dietary requirements, please provide your child with a packed lunch).
