NEW LTA Youth Schools Tennis Programme

Please find attached details of FREE teacher training opportunities from the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) in relation to LTA Youth Schools, their new schools tennis programme due to be launched this month.
In addition to the attached flier I have highlighted some key points below:
  • LTA Youth has been designed by teachers, for teachers and is mapped to the National Curriculum
  • It brings together free PE lesson plans, personal development resources, teacher training, and much more
  • The programme is fully inclusive and can be used in both mainstream and SEN schools
  • Each school that takes part and completes the online training will receive a £250 voucher (one per school) and a free activity pack
  • The £250 voucher can be redeemed against 10 hours of curriculum delivery with a local LTA Accredited & LTA Youth trained coach with links to a local tennis club
  • The online training takes between 1-1.5hrs with the option to save progress and complete in stages
  • The LTA are an afPE Professional Development Board Approved Provider, recognising the high standard of both the resources and the teacher training they offer
  • To find out more please visit the LTA Youth Schools pages here
  • This looks like a great opportunity for schools and it is all FREE!
If you would like to be involved please REGISTER HERE. Once the online teacher training course is available later this month all registered schools will automatically receive notification that the course is open to access.
