• PE Specialist Teacher: 1FTE MPS1-£28,000.00 – UPS1-£40,625.00 per year (0.6FTE is £16800 to £24375 depending on experience)
• Sports Development Coach: 1FTE UNQ1-£19,340.00- UNQ6-£30,172.00 per year (0.6FTE is £11604 to £18103 depending on experience).

Job Type: Part-time 20 hours per week

Fixed term contract until 31st August 2023 (likely to be extended)

We currently work in primary schools across Cornwall and Devon, providing traditional and alternative PE curriculum delivery plus lunchtime and afterschool clubs. Schools also request delivery of our specially designed programmes see below (training is available)

As a member of the Arena team you will have access to over 100 schemes of work which have been written by our highly qualified and experienced PE teachers/coaches for teachers 

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic primary school sports development coach or PE specialist teacher to join our team of PE professionals. Due to an increase in our work programme we have a vacancy for a sports development coach or PE specialist teacher to cover the Plymouth and South Devon area of the sports partnership the role will be for approximately 3 afternoons per week, and one full day but this could increase. You will need to be able to demonstrate good PE subject knowledge, deliver high quality PE lessons and be able to upskill primary non specialist teachers. You will require a full driving licence and own transport, as travel to different schools/locations is required to fulfil this role.

The Arena and Dartmoor Sports Partnerships are successful sports partnerships providing services to primary schools across North/East Cornwall and Devon.
